Mark and Sandy raised their family at LBC and moved away for other ministry opportunities. They returned for Mark to become Pastor in September 2017 after being pastor at Reagan Wells for a couple of years. From 2009 through 2014 the Moores lived in New Zealand as missionaries with International Student Ministries of New Zealand. Prior to vocational ministry Mark worked for Abilene Police for 24 years. They are both graduates of Hardin Simmons University, and Mark also graduated from Logsdon Seminary.
