These questions and comments relate to the sermon on 15 November 2020, Thessalonica Excursus, part 2.  The primary scripture is 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12.

2.  What is the meaning of the command in verse 3?  

3.  Verse 9 says, "Now, about your love for one another..."  What type of love does the letter address in this section?

4.  What was the record of the Thessalonians regarding their love for each other?

5.  Which gospel describes Jesus' command that his disciples love one another on the day before his resurrection?

6.  What does the letter mean in verse 11, "...make it your ambition to lead a quiet life..."?

7.  Where does the Bible say to mind your own business?
