To setup Text-to-Give, text one of the following commands to 325-221-0909.
$50 Donates $50 to the church. Users can type any amount; the dollar sign is optional (e.g. $50 and 50 both work).
give50 Same as above
give Our text giving number will respond asking how much you’d like to give.
$50 building Donates $50 to the building fund.
$50 weekly Sets up a recurring gift of $50 each week. Frequency options are ‘weekly’, ‘biweekly’, ‘monthly’, and ‘yearly’.
$50 missions weekly Sets up a recurring gift of $50 each week going to the international missions fund. Frequency options are ‘weekly’, ‘biweekly’, ‘monthly’, and ‘yearly’.
refund Refunds the previously given contribution1.
update Allows donors to update their payment method or recurring gift. Our text giving number will respond with a link where users can make these changes2.
unlink Unlink a user’s phone from the text to give system.
commands Provides the user with a list of available text commands.
1 Donors can only refund their own gift with this command within 24 hours of giving the gift. If the previously given contribution started a recurring gift, the recurrence will also be canceled.
2You can only update recurring gifts via text when the recurring gift was established via text giving.
Available Funds: General, Building, International Missions, Scholarship, & Van. If nothing is designated, it will go to the General Fund.
**Please keep in mind that Online Giving & Text-to-Give incur processing fees (2.9%+.30 for debit/credit cards & 1.0% +.25 for ACH) that are charged to the church. If you would like to help absord this cost, consider donating a little more than your base amount.
